Winter walking

My winter walking has been severely curtailed by the bad weather which has made the ground so wet that it's a struggle to walk across the fields. The view from the window is so gloomy, it's tempting just to stay snug and warm inside. I force myself to go out and am rewarded with some moody, black and white shots - something you don't get when the sky is blue and the sun is shining! This time, I took myself off down the lane to the main road and back - about a mile and a half.....
